The Fulbright Science and Technology Program is an initiative funded by the U.S. Department of State to support exceptional foreign students in pursuing a PhD at top U.S. universities. Each year, from 2007 to 2012, students were provided with three years of financial support for research in a broad range of Science and Technology fields.
Over these past years a strong network has developed among fellows. Enthusiasm has grown to bring our questions, discussions, research and experience to the broader scientific community and the general public – both in our home countries and in the U.S. From this enthusiasm, the concept of The Global Scientist magazine arose – a platform for fellows to communicate their findings and their perspectives to the world. It has been eye opening to experience the diverse backgrounds and insights within our group and it is a pleasure for us to now share these insights with you.
Currently, each new edition of the magazine is released on the first week of every month, with articles by fellows of the program.
The editors of the magazine change on a yearly basis.
